Upcoming events:

Johnnies' Day: the third Thursday of the month.   Eat at any of the metro area Johnnies Charbroil and mention Angel Fire and they will send a donation our way.

"Treat a person as he is, and he will remain as he is. Treat him as he could be, and he will become what he should be."     Jimmy Johnson

Trailblazers:  This is our mentoring program.  It gives our students the opportunity to learn about horses from the ground up.  The youth learn about the horse itself, different breeds, parts of the body, grooming, how to saddle, bridle and feed.  They learn to ride in the safety of the arena.  Through this program the youth can benefit with psychological, social and physical benefits.

Cowboy up:  In this program, we work with community service and at-risk youth.  The youth can complete their community service hours at Angel Fire. These youth work along with caring adult volunteers doing a variety of chores on the Angel Fire property.  After their hours have been complete, many of them become involved in the Trailblazer program.

Tutoring :  Students are provided with a tutor to assist them with their academic needs.  The students needs are identified and then a plan is designed to meet those needs.  The plan is then carried out by volunteers.
